Kids love their cute teddy bears and stuffed toys and will often take them along to parties and other events, no matter what you say!
But one fun thing to do is get the stuffed animals involved in the party games.
At Bears4U, we love seeing kids (and adults) love the teddy bears and stuffed toys they have adopted from us.
Here are some ideas of great games to play with stuffed toys for small or large groups.
1. Find the Toy
Pick one stuffed animal or teddy that looks a little different from the others.
A spotted puppy, a pink bunny or something that is easy to remember and use this as a hide and seek style game.
Hide it, and a number of other stuffed toys around the house, and the winner will find the particular toy you chose at the start.
They can grab the others as they go, but the prize is for that particular toy.
2. Musical Chairs with Toys
If the idea of the kids playing musical chairs is a bit of a headache, then why not substitute it for the stuffed toys?
All the kids will hold their favourite animal until the music stops, and then they have to place it on a chair to stay in the game.
Anyone without a chair is out of that round.
As the chairs are removed, the children race to seat their cuddly toy in the remaining seats.
The last one in wins the game.
3. Animal Rescue
This one is great for slightly older kids who still love their stuffed animals.
Place the toy somewhere that it needs ‘rescuing’, such as on a branch of a tree or stuck down the sofa.
Then split the kids into groups and each one has to find and ‘save’ a specific toy or a series of them.
For example, Group 1 could find all the Farm Animals, Group 2 could find Jungle Animals, etc.
The first team to complete their challenge and return is the winning team.

4. Animal Relay
For outdoor parties, a fun activity is to get a pile of stuffed toys and have the kids run to them, grab one, and then run back with it between their knees.
Then they have to pass the toy to the next person in the team who runs their section and so on until everyone has finished the race.
The first team to do it without dropping the teddy wins.
Hilarious fun for the adults watching!
5. Guess Who with Stuffed Toys
Grab a number of different teddy bears and put them into a bag.
Pop a blindfold on the child and get them to take one from the bag.
They have one minute to feel the toy and tell you what it is.
If they struggle, you can offer clues.
For example, the koala could be ‘found in Australia and sleeps in trees. ‘ If they guess right, they get a little prize.
6. Find your Favourite
If you have kids who have brought their own toys to the party, you can collect them all into a pile, then blindfold the kids and have them search through the pile for their toy.
Just make sure none of the kids has the same teddy before you start!
7. Toy Fashion Show
For smaller groups of kids, grab some toys that can be dressed up and have the kids dress them up for a fashion show.
You can give out prizes for the funniest, prettiest, silliest, and so on so that everyone ends up getting a prize for something.
8. Name Teddy Bears Make Great Gifts
As a special moment of the day, rather than a party bag, why not give each child a small teddy with their name on it?
Named teddy bears make fantastic gifts instead of party bags because they offer a personal touch and create lasting memories.
Unlike party bags that are quickly forgotten, a named teddy bear can be cherished for years, providing a special memento from the celebration.
They show thoughtfulness and effort, making each child feel uniquely valued.
