It is a very hard time for the human world at the moment. The bears want to send a big hug to you all. Our hearts go out to everyone whose lives have been affected by Coronavirus.
The Bears4u Orphanage is still open for business so we can continue to travel and take hugs to your loved ones from you. It may take a little longer at the moment to get to our destination but ‘bear’ with us as Royal Mail are doing their very best to get us there safely and quickly – lots of rules and regulations to stick to. (If you would like to read the update on shipping click on the link.) Sadly for now we cannot travel overseas or promise a next day service.
We can assure you that your safety and that of the bears working in the Orphange is our priority. We are working very strictly within the government guidelines and getting regular updates from our courier re safety and hygiene regarding packages.
We are grateful to you for you continued support at this time and hope we can carry on helping to spread a little happiness to your loved ones. We are closely monitoring the situation and will provide updates if necessary.
On a brighter note I have some good news! Only the other day one of our bear friends who has now left the Bears4u Orphanage in Windermere, was telling me that his little human friend had put him in his rucksack with his head sticking out and set off on his daily walk around the estate where he lives. Apparently some of the humans have put some of our other Orphanage mates like Philbin, Bonnie and Archie in their windows for everyone to see whilst they are out walking. Others had put some big teddy bears in their gardens with messages like ‘We Support our NHS Heroes and ‘We are in this Together’
It is lovely to know that teddy bears can make people smile at a time when life is so challenging for people. Helping to put a smile on peoples faces and deliver long distance hugs to many humans who find themselves apart from their family and friends at this time.
Thank you once again to our customers for your support and stay safe everyone.
